We live in a “post-truth” society at the moment. Similar, if you will, to medieval thought. Because we, for time issues, mostly, cannot gather information ourselves so we rely on other “experts” in all kinds of fields to do the leg work, analysis, and communication we cannot. I believe the only way to know the “truth” is to look at several sources, have lots of discussions, and think alternatively even when your ultimate conclusion is the one your started with. Your thoughts in this process will morph in subtle and sometimes radical ways. This is good for your brain, good for Democracy, and good for society as a whole.
